SESH is defined in reference to a specific context and to an intervention (SESHI: agriculture, health, environment…) with 5 participatory steps: 1. define boundaries of the SES and relevant stakeholders in reference to the intervention 2. co-construction of the model of potential impacts on HH/AH/EH/SHE/SESH 3. co-construction/negotiation of Indicator Variables for each H component (and interactions) 4. implement SESHI, monitor variable-indicators, assess trajectory of the SES 5. evaluate SESHI, revise/propose new intervention (back to 1.) Co-learning intervenes throughout the process (steps 2-5) and should be monitored as a key element

I.2 Objectifs du programme

Le projet HEcoSEA a pour objectif d’accompagner les communautés et les acteurs locaux pour la mise en place effective d’interventions visant à améliorer les capacités d’adaptation face aux défis sanitaires et environnementaux en Asie SE.

Le projet proposera une démarche participative, interdisciplinaire et intersectorielle de co-construction afin de définir, appliquer, suivre et évaluer des interventions visant à :

1) Améliorer la gestion des interactions faune-bétail-homme entre les aires protégées et les zones rurales périphériques (conflits homme-faune, optimisation des pratiques pastorales et agricoles, mitigation conséquences sanitaires, conservation, économiques et socio-culturelles…)

2) Favoriser l’adoption de techniques agro-écologiques permettant un usage raisonné des pesticides et des antibiotiques et favorisant l’intégration agriculture-élevage.

3) Limiter les impacts sanitaires et environnementaux liés à la divagation des animaux domestiques, notamment les maladies zoonotiques associées aux chiens et aux cochons.

information) WP2- Biodiversité/Interactions Faune-Bétail-Homme (gestion mouvements du bétail, mitigation des conflits agricoles sanitaires,…) WP3- Agro-écologie/Usage des pesticides et des antibiotiques (intensification raisonnée, plantes de couverture, traitements naturels alternatifs, circuits commerciaux…) WP4- Epidémiologie/Maladies infectieuses des animaux domestiques (analyse et gestion des déterminants socio-écologiques, priorisation des populations-cibles pour la vaccination, programmes de stérilisation/contrôle, surveillance participative…) WP5- Modélisation participative/Approche transdisciplinaire (méthodes de modélisation participative pour la définition de modèles conceptuels d’intervention partagés et la co-construction d’indicateurs de suivi) WP6- Chemin de l’impact/Evaluation (y compris démarche éthique, équitable et respectueuse de l’environnement)
