FRA l’origine, une idée de bon sens :les matières naturelles sont les meilleures pour contenir de la nourriture. En appliquant sans concession ce principe depuis notre belle ville de Lyon, nous avons lancé nubento : une gamme de produits 100% naturels pour les repas nomades.

Le verre, le métal et le bois ont été choisis pour remplacer les contenants plastiques.

Nous avons développé des joints végétaux à partir de l’hévéa afin de supprimer le silicone.

Pour supprimer plastiques et colorants, nous ne proposons pas de décors colorés imprimés sur film en plastique sur nos bouteilles, pas de contenants de toutes les couleurs, ni de jolis emballages autour de nos produits.Cela ne nous a pas empêché de décorer nos produits de façon responsable.

Notre pari est tenu : une gamme écologique et naturelle, mais également hermétique, et largement compatible avec le micro-ondes et le lave-vaisselle.

Pour chacun de nos produits, l’étiquette indique son empreinte carbone due à sa fabrication et son transport. Nous compensons le double de cette empreinte en finançant des programmes de reforestation dans différents pays.

Nous sommes revenus à l’essentiel : proposer la solution la plus saine et écologique pour conserver la nourriture.

Glass, metal and wood have been chosen to replace plastic containers.

We have developed vegetal seals from the rubber tree to get rid of silicone.

To do away with plastics and dyes, our bottles do not come with colorful decorations printed on plastic film, no all color containers, or nice packaging around our products.

It does not stop us from decorating our products responsibly however.

Our challenge has been to produce an ecological and natural range, that is also hermetic, and generally compatible with the microwave and the dishwasher.

The label on each of our products gives its carbon footprint taking into account its manufacture and transportation. We offset double this footprint by funding reforestation programs in different countries.

We went back to the basics: to offer the healthiest and most ecological solution to preserve food.

L’hévéa, aussi appelé arbre à caoutchouc, produit naturellement une substance élastique appelée latex. Le mot « Caoutchouc » vient d’ailleurs du mot « cahutchu » qui signifie « bois qui pleure », faisant ainsi référence à la façon dont le latex coule comme une larme lors de l’incision du tronc. La culture de l’hévéa se fait principalement en Thaïlande, sur de petites exploitations familiales mixtes, souvent couplées à de l’ananas par exemple.

nubento utilise cette matière végétale en remplacement des silicones et caoutchoucs de synthèse produits à base de pétrole.Nos produits sont donc à la fois écologiques et totalement hermétiques.

Afin d’être totalement transparent, nubento calcule et affiche l’empreinte carbone sur chacun de ses produits.

Cette empreinte est la quantité de CO2 émise dans l’atmosphère pour la fabrication (97%) et le transport (3%) du produit.

Pour chaque produit fabriqué, nubento compense le double de l’émission de carbone en finançant des programmes de plantations d’arbres dans plusieurs pays. Ces forets captent du CO2 et permettent de protéger la bio-diversité.

In order to be completely transparent, nubento calculates and displays the carbon footprint on each of its products.

This footprint is the amount of CO2 emitted into the atmosphere for manufacture (97%) and transport (3%) of the product.

For each product manufactured, nubento offsets double the carbon emissions by funding tree planting programs in several countries. These forests capture CO2 and protect bio-diversity.

The rubber tree naturally produces an elastic substance called latex.

The rubber tree is known in some parts as «Caoutchouc» from the word «cahutchu», which means «crying wood», referring to the way the latex flows like a tear drop during the incision of the trunk. The rubber tree is mainly cultivated in Thailand, on small mixed family farms, often paired with pineapple

for example.

nubento uses this plant material as a replacement for silicones and synthetic rubbers produced from petroleum.

Our products are therefore both ecological and totally hermetica!

nubento s’est associé à une ONG : treedomPour chaque produit fabriqué, nubento compense le double de l’émission de carbone en finançant des programmes de plantations d’arbres. Ces forets captent du CO2, permettent de protéger la bio-diversité et donne du travail à des agriculteurs dans le besoin. Ces forêts permettent également de reboiser des régions sinistrées dans le monde.

Notre forêt est déjà composée de 190 arbres Calliandra au Kenya.

Le Calliandra calothyrsus ou arbre aux houppettes, fait partie des plantes à fleurs au sein de la famille des Fabacées. Dans des conditions optimales, il peut pousser jusqu’à 12 mètres de haut, avec un tronc de 30 cm de diamètre. Il présente des fleurs et des sépales verts, avec de belles étamines filamenteuses d’une vive couleur violette ou rouge.

Nous avons choisi cet arbre particulier pour sa forte absorption de CO2 environ 200 kg.

Our forest is already composed of 190 Calliandra trees in Kenya.

The calliandra calothyrsus belongs to a genus of floral plants within the Fabaceae family. Under perfect conditions the plant can grow up to 12 meters tall with trunk diameter of 30 cm. Its flowers and sepals are green, while the long and numerous stamens are a beautiful and intense purple or red.

We chose this particular tree for his strong capacity to absorb carbon, about 200 kg.
