PORTÉ PAR LE VENTUne chaîne suspendue à un point aérien a été la genèse de notre création. Le poids froid et lourd de chaque boucle entrelacée est une métaphore des attaches et des ancres inscrites dans notre monde intérieur et du karma de nos actes passés qui nous empêchent de naviguer dans la mer infinie. Ce n’est qu’à travers nos rêves et notre imagination que nous sommes capables d’enlever les contraintes et de laisser le vent nous porter.
CARRIED BY THE WINDA chain hanging from an aerial point was the genesis of our creation. The cold and heavy weight of each interlocking loop, a metaphor of the attachments and anchors embedded in our internal world and the karma from our past deeds that keep us from sailing into the endless sea. It is only through our dreams and imagination that we are able to remove the constraints and let the wind carry us.

D’envergure internationale, l’École nationale de cirque est une institution d’enseignement dédiée à la formation d’artistes, de pédagogues et de créateurs en arts du cirque. Elle offre le cycle complet de
la formation professionnelle en arts du cirque ; formation préparatoire, secondaire et collégiale. Elle se consacre également à la recherche et à l’innovation ainsi qu’à l’acquisition, la préservation et
la mise en valeur des ressources documentaires en arts du cirque.
L’École administre le Centre de recherche, d’innovation et de transfert en arts du cirque (CRITAC) qui est reconnu à titre de Centre collégial de transfert de technologie et s’est vu octroyer en 2012 une Chaire de
recherche industrielle collégiale en arts du cirque du Conseil de recherche en sciences humaines du Canada.

It offers the complete cycle of professional circus arts training, from the preparatory to high school and college levels. It also devotes resources towards research and innovation as well
as acquiring, curating and further developing circus arts documentation.
The School administers the Center for Research, Innovation and Transfer in Circus Arts (CRITAC), which is recognized as a Centre collégial de transfert de technologie and was awarded an Industrial Research Chair for
Circus Arts in 2012 by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada.

Ça émerge des espaces caverneux qui abritent les monstres qui nous assiègent, la vermine de nos envies de validation et de nos paradoxes. C’est la réponse paniquée d’artistes vivants étampés en deux dimensions. C’est un cauchemar façonné des eaux grises recueillies de la lavette tordue de nos subconscients. C’est aussi une mascarade purgatoire sur le sens de la scène et de ce que nos égos gloutons attendent d’elle, un espace où se débattre un peu avec l’abîme. C’est à la fois la déroute éparpillée et l’urgence du sens. C’est ériger devant nous nos maisons-cauchemars et choisir de les habiter un moment.
WONDERFUL INDIVIDUAL SPORTSIt is a digestion of lurking anguish; a worrisome winter. It emerges from the cavernous spaces harbouring those monsters that besiege us, the vermin of our need for validation, and our paradoxes. It is the panicked response of living artists stamped in two dimensions. A nightmare fashioned from the gray water of the twisted mop of our subconscious. It is also a purgatory masquer-ade about the meaning of the stage and of what our gluttonous egos expect from it. A space in which to grapple with the abyss. It is both the disorganized derailment and the urgency of purpose. It is to construct our nightmarish houses before our eyes, and to choose to inhabit them for a moment.

SAISONSLe cycle des saisons m’amène à penser au cycle de la vie que nous pouvons trouver dans tout ce que nous faisons en tant qu’humains. L’idée est d’explorer non pas le changement des saisons, mais le changement des saisons à l’intérieur de chacun d’entre nous à travers l’expérience de la vie. Une recherche de cirque contemporain puissamment évocatrice, de mouvement énigmatique, de musique captivante, qui met en lumière la force de la condition humaine.
SEASONSThe cycle of seasons brings me to think about the cycle of life that we can find in everything we do as humans. The idea is to explore not the changing of the seasons, but the change of the seasons inside each one of us through life experience. A research of powerfully evocative contemporary circus, enigmatic movement, captivating music, which brings to light the strength of the human condition.
