WARRANTYHYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.warrants thatanyoriginalpartsorcomponentsofeachnewHYUNDAIvehiclefoundtobedefective inmaterialorworkmanshipwithintheapplicablewarrantyperiodwillberepairedorreplacedbyanyauthorizedHYUNDAIDealerorauthorizedHYUNDAIServiceCentresubjecttotheconditionsdescribedherein.RepairswillbemadeusingGenuineHYUNDAIPartsorHYUNDAIauthorizedremanufacturedparts.

* Normal maintenance service:Includingchecking, tightening,adjusting,enginetune-ups, fuelsystemadjustment,wheeltoe&balancing,cleaning, lubrication,oil changes, replenishmentof fuel,engineoil, transaxle fluid,brakefluid,clutchfluid,powersteeringfluid,anti-freezecoolant,windshieldwasherfluid,airconditionerrefrigerant,headlightaimingandtirerotation.

* Normal replacement of service items:Includingsparkplugs,wiperblades,fuses,wornbrakeandclutchlinings,filters, lampbulbs,belts,tires,hoses,hardwareandothersimilarconsumables.

* Any vehicle that has been scrapped and a certificate of salvage has been issued for the vehicle

* Damage or failure resulting from:- NegligenceofpropermaintenanceasspecifiedintheOwner’s

ManualandthisServicePassport.- Misuse,accident,theftorfire.- UseofpartsotherthanGenuineHYUNDAIParts.- Modification,alteration,tamperingorimproperrepair.- Anydeviceand/oraccessories installedbyanypartiesother

thanHYUNDAI.- Deteriorationofrubberparts,upholsteryandsofttrimunder

normaluseandexposure.- Slight irregularitiesnot recognizedasaffectingqualityor

functionofthevehiclesuchasslightnoiseorvibration,oritemsconsideredcharacteristicofthevehicle.

* Consequential damage: Suchasfuel,telephone,travel,lodging,inconvenience,commercial

and/orpersonallossandlossofuseofthevehiclearenotcovered.

OWNER’S RESPONSIBILITIES* Properuse,maintenanceandcareofyourvehicle inaccordance

withtheinstructionscontainedinthisbookletandinyourOwner’sManual.

* Aluminumissubjecttocorrosionduetoenvironmentalconditions.(Besuretogivealuminumalloywheelsspecialattentioninwinter.Ifyoudriveonsaltedroads,cleanthewheelsthoroughlyafterwards.)

EXCLUSION OF ALL OTHER WARRANTYThewarrantiesprovidedinthisServicePassportaretheonlywarrantiesexpressedor impliedbyHYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP., includinganywarrantyofmerchantabilityorfitnesswhichextendsbeyondtheexpresseddescriptionherein.HYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.doesnotauthorizeanypersontocreateorassumeforitanyotherwarrantyobligationorliabilityinconnectionwithHYUNDAIvehicles.

WARRANTY JURISDICTIONThewarrantiesprovidedinthisServicePassportapplyonlytoHYUNDAIvehiclesmanufacturedtoCanadianspecificationswhicharedistributedinCanadabyHYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.,and registeredandnormallyoperatedinCanada.

NEW VEHICLE LIMITED WARRANTY

WARRANTY PERIODHYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.’sNewVehicleLimitedWarrantycoversdescribedcomponentsfor60monthsfromtheWarrantyRegistrationDate,or100,000km.,whicheveroccursfirst.

WHAT IS COVEREDAnyoriginalcomponent that is foundtobedefective inmaterialorworkmanshipundernormaluseandmaintenance,exceptcomponentsspecificallycoveredunderanyothersectionof theHYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.Warranty.

TOWINGTowingassistancewillbeallowedfordeliveryof thevehicle to thenearestauthorizedHYUNDAIDealerorauthorizedHYUNDAIServiceCentreintheeventthatthevehicleisrenderedinoperableduetothewarrantablefailureofacoveredcomponent.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED“What isnotcovered”and“Owner’sresponsibilities”areasspecifiedundertheGeneralWarrantyProvisions.

BATTERY WARRANTYTheoriginalbatteryinstalledinyournewHYUNDAIvehicleiswarrantedtobefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipforaperiodof24monthsfromtheWarrantyRegistrationDate,or40,000km.,whicheveroccursfirst.

AUDIO SYSTEM WARRANTY

Cosmeticandminor imperfections in thepaintarecovered for12monthsfromtheWarrantyRegistrationDate,or20,000km,whicheveroccursfirst.

WHAT IS COVEREDHYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.warrantsthateachnewvehicle: (1)wasdesigned,builtandequippedtoconformat thetimeofsaletoapplicablefederalemissionsregulations;and,(2) isfreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipatthetimeofsalewhichwouldcausethevehicletofailtoconformwithsuchregulationswithintheEmissionSystemWarrantyperiod.

EMERGENCY REPAIRS AWAY FROM HOMEHYUNDAIrecognizesthatyourvehiclecoulddevelopaseriousproblemrequiringimmediaterepairwhileawayfromhomeandthat itmaybenecessarythattherepairbeperformedbyanon-HYUNDAIfacility.

HYUNDAIwillreimburseyouforthefeesincurredforsuchrepairsif:

• TherepairwouldnormallybecoveredbythewarrantiesoutlinedinthisServicePassportand

• AllHYUNDAIdealershipswithin100kmofthebreakdownlocationwereclosedat thetime,or therewerenoHYUNDAIdealershipswithin100kmand

• Thevehiclewasrenderedinoperable,orifattemptingtodrivethevehiclewouldcausefurtherdamageorbeunsafeand

• Therepairwasnecessarytopermityoutocontinueyourtriptoyourdestinationoryourhome.

toasalvageyard.* Anychargesrelatingtoimpoundingandstorage.* Servicetoavehicledriven intoanareanotregularlytravelledor

* Delaysaresometimesunavoidabledue toheavydemands forservice.Underthecircumstance,ClubAutoreservestherighttolimittowingtothenearestrepairfacility.Ifthevehicleisalreadyinasafeplace,suchasaprivateorpublicgarage,drivewayetc.,ClubAutoreservestherighttoservicethevehicleonlyaftertheheavydemandisover.

* In renderingservice, theserviceoutletactsasan independentcontractorratherthananagentofClubAuto.ClubAuto/HYUNDAIAUTOCANADACORP.assumesnoresponsibility forany lossordamagefromtheprovisionofsuchservices.

* Anydamagesresultingfromtheactsofthe independentservicefacilitypersonnelare thesole responsibilityof the facilityandshouldbereportedtotheproprietorwithin24hoursandPRIORtoanyrepairs.

* Chargesforservices,repairsorlabourwhichexceedthosespecifiedareatthevehicleoperator’sexpense,atprevailingretailrates.
