How important is English language fluency for Engineers?

•Research and academic courses are recorded and written in English.

•Without fluency in English, engineering students may find it difficult to understand the concept being conveyed by the authors.


Reasons why an Engineer should be fluent in English:

1. For success in any field, one has to know, understand and communicate effectively. communication skills is the key to success.

2. The English now is a bridge language of international business, technology, research and aviation. About 1.8 billion speak English and the number is still rising.


For communication purposes, an engineer must bear these things in mind

To study abroad in the best universities of the world, students have to

take up standardized tests IELTS to prove their English language proficiency.


1. Today, employers seek graduates with sound communication skills.

2. Having good communication skills is a valuable asset for any organization. Professionals with strong hold of English language are set in higher levels of any organization.
