Dans un contexte économique particulièrement difficile, il est indispensable de maintenir les investissements dans les secteurs des nouvelles technologies et de la mobilité propre lesquels occupent une place toujours plus importante dans nos villes, sur nos routes, dans nos entreprises et dans nos foyers.

Cette huitième édition de EVER Monaco nous permettra de constater les considérables progrès accomplis en quelques années dans ces domaines. Je me félicite du rôle de révélateur de ces technologies nouvelles que joue EVER à l'égard du public tout comme celui d'incubateur de ces technologies que remplissent les conférences scientifiques.

Je remercie les organisateurs d'EVER Monaco de poursuivre leurs efforts pour promouvoir les véhicules respectueux de l'environnement disponibles sur le marché, mais aussi les solutions domestiques et industrielles susceptibles de réduire l'impact de l'activité humaine sur le climat.

Il est également primordial de poursuivre les réflexions et les échanges d'idées sur des sujets aussi cruciaux. Les conférences et tables rondes qui abordent ces questions d'actualité et réunissent des personnalités de grande qualité contribueront à ce dessein, j'en suis convaincu, de manière concrète et positive.

Dans un monde en crise, le risque de se replier sur des comportements à court terme est un réflexe de plus en plus présent. Or les innovations présentées à EVER Monaco, très largement mises en pratiques par les grands constructeurs automobiles, sont autant de raisons d'espoir dans notre combat pour préserver notre planète en particulier dans le domaine de la réduction de nos émissions de carbone.

Je me félicite que la Principauté soit à l'avant-garde de ce mouvement qui va dans le sens de mes convictions et de mon engagement en faveur de la préservation de la planète.

In this particularly difficult economic climate, it is essential to continue to invest in new technologies and clean mobility, sectors which are taking on increasing importance in our cities, on our roads, in our businesses and in our homes.

This eighth edition of EVER Monaco will give us the opportunity to see the significant progress accomplished over the last few years in these fields. I applaud the role played by EVER Monaco in unveiling these new technologies to the public, as much as I applaud the mission fulfilled by the scientific lectures as an incubator for such technologies.

I would like to thank the organisers of EVER Monaco for continuing their efforts to promote the environmentally-friendly vehicles available on the market, but also the domestic and industrial solutions that are likely to help reduce the impact of human activity on the climate.

It is also essential to pursue our reflections and exchange of ideas on such key topics. The lectures and round table sessions addressing these current issues and bringing together eminent personalities will, I am firmly convinced, contribute towards realising this goal in a concrete and positive manner.

With a world in crisis, the risk of giving in to short-term behaviour patterns is increasingly commonplace. However, the innovations presented at EVER Monaco, widely put into practice by the major car manufacturers, give us reason to hope that our fight to protect the planet will be successful, in particular with regard to reducing our carbon emissions.

I am delighted that the Principality is at the forefront of this movement which is in line with my convictions and my commitment to protect the planet.

Bienvenue à EVER Monaco 2013, qui allie exposition et conférences sur les Véhicules Écologiques et les Énergies Renouvelables.

Depuis Son avènement, Son Altesse Sérénissime Le Prince Albert II de Monaco, a engagé la Principauté dans une politique de développement durable notamment liée à la mobilité "propre".

Les partenariats signés avec les constructeurs automobiles, ainsi que l'engagement des différentes administrations et des entreprises de services publics ont conduit à faire de Monaco une réelle vitrine de la mobilité propre.

Un autre objectif de ce salon est de vous sensibiliser au développement des énergies renouvelables et l'amélioration de l'efficacité énergétique.

Les conférences scientifiques permettront de réunir chercheurs, universitaires et industriels, chargés de projets de développement autour de ces différents thèmes.

3 jours durant des tables rondes feront intervenir des experts de ces deux domaines et seront l'occasion de comparer et partager les expériences de chacun.

Since his accession, His Serene Highness Prince Albert II of Monaco, has spurred the Principality into a sustainable development policy, in particular in relation to “clean” mobility.

The official opening of the 8th edition of EVER MONACO on Wednesday 27th March 2013 will be marked by a unique event: the MONACO ECO LUXURy TOUR. A prestigious event in a class of its own, the MONACO ECO LUXURy TOUR will offer visitors the chance to get a sneak preview of exceptional eco-friendly vehicles: prototypes, supercars and GTs. Open, by official invitation, to outstanding vehicles, the MONACO ECO LUXURy TOUR will drive through the streets of the Rocher, marking the high point of the first day of the show and will arrive at the Grimaldi Forum at 3 p.m. for the opening plenary session presided over by H.S.H. Prince Albert II.

The EVER conference was launched in 2007 with the aim of involving university academics with their recent research findings. The conference gives them the opportunity to share their experiences in the scientific, technical, commercial and social fields. The participants, who come from every corner of the world, present and discuss their latest research results during oral and poster sessions. An increase in the number of papers submitted for the conference has been observed from one year to the next. A special issue of the journal European Transactions on Electrical Power (ETEP) including a selection of paperspresented at EVER'07 was published in October 2008. Likewise, three special issues of the International Journal for Computation and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (COMPEL) including selections of papers presented in EVER'09, EVER’10 and EVER’11 have been published in January 2011, January 2012 and January 2013, respectively.

La conférence EVER a été lancée pendant 2007 dans une perspective d'impliquer les universitaires avec leurs récents résultats de recherche. Cette conférence permet d’échanger leurs expériences dans les domaines scientifiques, techniques, commerciaux et sociaux. Les participants, originaires des quatre coins du monde, présentent et discutent leurs derniers résultats de recherche dans des sessions orales et posters. La conférence a enregistré une progression dans le nombre de papiers d'une année à une autre. Un numéro spécial du journal European Transactions on Electrical Power (ETEP) incluant une sélection de papiers présentés durant EVER'07 a été publié en Octobre 2008. De même trois numéros spéciaux de l'International Journal for Computation and Mathematics in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (COMPEL) incluant des sélections de papiers présentés durant EVER'09, EVER’10, et EVER’11 a été publiés respectivement en Janvier 2011, Janvier 2012, et Janvier 2013.

La 14ème édition de l’opération Jeun’elec s’est déroulée du 10 décembre 2012 au 7 février 2013. Cette opération, organisée par le Club des Véhicules Électriques de Monaco en collaboration avec la Direction de l’éducation Nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports et la Direction de l’Environnement, avait pour but de sensibiliser les collégiens de la Principauté aux problématiques environnementales dues au transport routier urbain et à l’utilisation du véhicule électrique.Les élèves de classes de 4ème des Collèges Charles III et Saint-François d’Assise Nicolas-Barré, ont ainsi assisté à des présentations agrémentées par un film ludique, au cours desquelles ils ont pu s’informer sur le véhicule électrique.à l’issue de ce temps d’échanges, les adolescents ont été également invités à participer, pendant 30 mn, à un concours visant à dessiner un logo et à imaginer un slogan en faveur de la mobilité électrique.Enfin, le 7 février, les essais des véhicules électriques ont constitué le point d’orgue de cette opération. Tout au long de cette journée, les collégiens ont pu expérimenter, sur le Port Hercule, tous les modes de transports “électriques” de la Principauté : scooter, vélo à assistance électrique, automobiles, kart sur glace.Le jury, présidé par Madame Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Conseiller au Gouvernement pour l’Équipement, l’Environnement et l’Urbanisme s’est réuni le 5 mars pour désigner le lauréat qui remportera un scooter électrique décoré avec l’image de son propre logo. La remise des prix aura lieu le mercredi 27 mars sur le pavillon monégasque, situé au sein du salon EVER, au Grimaldi Forum.

The 14th edition of operation Jeun'elec took place from 10th December 2012 to 7th February 2013. The aim of the event, organised by the Electric Vehicles Club of Monaco in cooperation with the Office of National Education, youth and Sport and the Office for the Environment, was to raise the awareness of secondary school pupils in the Principality about environmental issues due to urban traffic and use of the electric vehicle.year 9 students from the Charles III and Saint François d'Assise Nicolas-Barré Schools took part in presentations including an entertaining film, during which they were able to find out information concerning the electric vehicle.After a discussion session, the students were then invited to take part in a 30-minute contest consisting in designing a logo and thinking up a slogan to promote electric mobility.Last but not least, on 7th February the operation culminated in electric vehicle test drives. Throughout the day, students had the opportunity to try out all the Principality's types of “electric” transport in Port Hercule: scooters, power-assisted bikes, cars, go-kart on ice.The panel of judges, presided over by Ms Marie-Pierre Gramaglia, Minister for Facilities, the Environment and Urban Planning, met on 5th March to name the winner who will be given an electric scooter decorated with the image of his/her logo. The award ceremony will be held on Wednesday 27th March in the Monegasque Pavilion at the EVER event at the Grimaldi Forum.

Organisée par l’association MC2D, en étroite collaboration avec la Direction de l’Éducation Nationale, de la Jeunesse et des Sports, la neuvième édition des rencontres de Monaco “Jeunesse et Développement Durable” se déroulera le 28 mars 2013 au Grimaldi Forum à l’occasion du salon EVER.Ces débats seront composés de deux groupes d’au moins 6 lycéens chacun qui s’affronteront à la manière d’un débat télévisé, pour défendre leurs idées sur les thèmes se rapportant au Développement Durable. Ces rencontres seront modérées par Patrice Drevet.

Un jury composé de membres du Gouvernement et de différentes institutions monégasques se réunira ensuite pour désigner les vainqueurs des débats.Pour l’année scolaire 2013-2013 les thèmes choisis sont :

Organised by the association MC2D, in close cooperation with the Office of National Education, youth and Sports, the nineteenth edition of the Monaco “youth and Sustainable Development” Meetings will take place on 28th March 2013 in the Grimaldi Forum during the EVER event. These debates will involve two groups, each consisting of at least 6 secondary school students, who will confront each other, using a similar format as a televised debate, to defend their ideas on topics relating to Sustainable Development. The debates will be moderated by Patrice Drevet.

A jury composed of members of the Government and various Monegasque institutions will then meet to designate the winners.

dans des domaines différents, afin de travailler ensemble pour coordonner leurs actions et accroître leur efficacité. Les actions de MC2D

portent sur la sensibilisation de la population et des pouvoirs publics sur les problèmes environnementaux dans l’optique d’un développement

durable dans la Principauté. Cette association est à l’origine de nombreux projets comme la lutte pour la sauvegarde du thon rouge en

Méditérranée, la déforestation, les Rencontres Jeunesse et Développement Durable et la création d’un cycle mensuel de conférences "Jeudi

Vert" en collaboration avec la Mairie.

The goal of MC2D, which was set up in July 2004, is to group together the different Monegasque associations (Club des Véhicules Écologiques

de Monaco, Ecopolis, Monegasque Association for the Protection of Nature, etc.) striving to protect and improve the environment in various

fields so that they can work together to coordinate their activities and increase their efficiency. MC2D’s actions concern raising the awareness

of the population and public authorities about environmental issues with a view to promoting sustainable development in the Principality.

This association is behind many projects such as efforts to conserve the Mediterranean bluefin tuna, deforestation, the Debates on youth
