Bheri Yoga, and Rahu and Ketu also give the results of the Bheri Yoga by

being in the rasis of planets taking part in the Bheri Yoga, therefore, this is a

very powerful Bheri Yoga making him famous, virtuous, etc. in all dasas.

Also, since all the planets take part in the Bheri Yoga, there is no need to

qualify the Yoga further.The Sun and the Moon are both above the horizon, and the Moon is a

malefic, indicating that the malefic influences in the horoscope will have a

serious toll, and that his life will have an element of tragedy. Gandhi cannot

be said to have had an easy life at all. His whole life was dedicated to the

freedom of Indians, for which he himself underwent the pains of

imprisonment and extreme fasting. Most importantly, he suffered greatly

due to the unrest between Hindus and Muslims and the partition of Indiaand Pakistan after independence had been gained.

Gandhi was the leader of India during its period of gaining

independence. His horoscope, therefore, could also be used to take a look

befell India after independence.

Considering the Nabhasa Yogas in Gandhis horoscope, it is found that

the majority of planets are in moveable rasis, most closely forming Rajju

Yoga. Gandhi traveled extensively throughout India, had his education in

England, and made a name for himself fighting for civil rights in Africa.

Rajju Yoga made him successful in foreign countries and often on themove. Since other yogas in the horoscope indicate a great man, the

potential negative effects of Rajju Yoga are not felt, and instead he became

a pioneer, the first to win independence through passive resistance instead

of violence. There are three benefics, Mercury, Jupiter and Venus,

compared to two malefics (not considering Rahu and Ketu for this

purpose), Mars and the malefic Moon, on the angles, indicating that 3/5 of

life unfolds easily and happily and that 2/5 of life unfolds in a difficultfashion. Gandhi had the luxury of a foreign education, and the manner in

which he gained Indias independence, through peaceful means, is also due
