projet sur l’extraction de l’astaxanthine de la crevette.
Il est le co-inventeur d’un brevet déposé (juin 2015) au sujet d’une procédure verte
pour l’extraction de la guanine (purine) des écailles de poisson.

Research InterestsHis current research fields include the synthesis, the property study and the
molecular engineering of organized, hierarchically porous and bio-inspired
materials, biomaterials, and nanostructures for applications in nanotechnology,
biotechnology, and biomedical and information technology.

Awards and HonoursHe was honored in 2010 by the New Brunswick Innovation Foundation for his
success in extracting Astaxanthin from shrimp.
He is a co-inventor of a filed patent (June 2015) about a green procedure for
the extraction of the guanine (purine) from fish scales.

students, post-doctoral fellows, and researchers from Canada and abroad.
