Mrs. Mackay’s Cutiepies collected 22 pairs of shoes this
month! Please continue bringing in your donations.
MERCI!
Bonjour les familles! It was wonderful to share in our celebration of learning with you and your loved ones at end of term conferences last week. What a beautiful opportunity for our kids to shine. Very shortly, we will be putting up a mitten tree in our front entrance. Our hope is to collect as many mittens as we can to help keep our kids warm on those cold days. We invite you to bring in a pair of mittens/gloves to add to our beautiful tree and a donation of non-perishable food for under the tree.. On Wednesday December 5, we are hosting a movie night, showing ‘Love Punjab’ an Indian movie with English Subti-tles. All are welcome to attend—children must be accompa-nied by an adult. We invite you to bring a donation of canned goods as your entry fee.
We look forward to a festive December with our upcoming Winter Concerts at the Seven Oaks Performing Arts Centre (SOPAC). We also invite you to bring donations of canned goods for Winnipeg Harvest when you come to our two Winter Concerts.

Dear Families, We are hoping to add multilingual books, in languages such as Punjabi and Tagalog, to our Library collection. If you are traveling with your family this winter, would you consider purchasing a children’s book written in your first language to bring back with you to donate to our school library? Thank you for your support with this!
Nous vous remercions en avance.

Indicated by the sign shown below, school zones surround schools with children in Kindergarten up to grade eight. Vehicles parked illegally during school pick up and drop off times create serious safety hazards for children and cause traffic delays. It’s especially important to pay attention to and abide by all sign-age and rules of the road around schools. Parking violations that will be enforced around schools include driving through bus stop sign or patrol flags no stopping no parking parked on boulevard or sidewalk wrong side of road double parked wrong direction blocking bike path or pedestrian path fire lane designated space parking too close to stop sign Fines range from $35 to $300 per violation.
