LES BAINSRÉSIDENCE ARTISTIQUE ÉPHÉMÈRE

Depuis janvier 2013 Les Bains accueillent la golden class du street art international - ASH (Pays-Bas), L’Atlas (France), Futura (USA), Space INVADER (France), Jérôme MESNAGER (France), SKKI (France), SOWAT (France), STEN LEX (Italie), VHILS (Portugal), Gérard ZLOTYKAMIEN (France) etc...- qui s’est déployée sur les 3000m² du célèbre immeuble haussmannien. L’initiative, inspirée par la Société des Bains créée en décembre 2011 par les propriétaires historiques du lieu, réinvente, préserve et prolonge cette icône de la vie parisienne. Quatre mois hors du temps pour rendre hommage à l’ADN artistique des Bains.

Jean-Pierre Marois, à la fois propriétaire et nouvel hôte de cette adresse mythique, a confié à la galeriste Magda Danysz la commission de l’exposition et à Colombe de La Taille/ADL Conseil la communication de l’évènement. Une oeuvre inédite, urbaine et contemporaine ! Un chantier artistique éphémère qui disparaîtra le 30 avril.

Chaque jour, le portail web des Bains 2013 propose un focus day by day sur chacun des 30 artistes in situ. Une mise au point électrifiante sur les virtuoses du street art ! Le site vit d’un update permanent de news et curiosités sur l’univers des Bains: visionnage des oeuvres, témoignages inédits, images d’archive, extraits de concerts et un regard vidéo sur le backstage Bains 2013.

Une occasion unique de se plonger une fois encore dans l’antre de ce lieu mythique, avant que ne s’opère une nouvelle renaissance: la réouverture des Bains, sur la totalité de l’immeuble également. Poursuite de la légende, nouvelle formule, autre histoire… Ouverture été 2014.

Since January 2013, Les Bains has been home to the cream of international street artists - ASH (Neder-lands), L’Atlas (France), Futura (USA), Space INVADER (France), Jérôme MESNAGER (France), SKKI (France), SOWAT (France), STEN LEX (Italie),VHILS (Portugal), Gérard ZLOTYKAMIEN (France) etc...- taking over the entire 3000m2 of the famous haussmannian era building. The initiative, inspired by the Société des Bains created in December 2011 by the longstanding owners of the venue, is reinventing, renovating and preserving this icon of Parisian life. Four months of suspended time to create a tribute to the artistic DNA of the club.

Jean-Pierre Marois, both owner and new host of this legendary place, entrusted Magda Danysz with the curation of the exhibition and Colombe de La Taille/ADL Conseil to be in charge of the event com-munication. A novel, urban and contemporary artwork! An ephemeral artistic workshop that will be demolished on the 30th April.

Every day, the web portal of The Bains offers a daily focus of each of the 30 artists in situ. An electrifying look at the virtuosos of street art! The website provides a permanent update of news and curiosities on Les Bains, as well exhibiting the artworks, exclusive interviews, archive pictures, concert extracts and video of the backstage secrets of Les Bains 2013.

It’s a unique occasion to delve once again into the depths of this mythical venue before its new rebirth:the reopening of Les Bains as it takes over the entire building. The legend goes on, new formula, anotherstory... Opening Summer 2014.
